Mr. Hemraj Badal, the company chairperson, has a wealth of experience in the poultry sector and has other business interests related to the poultry and vet sector. He started as an employee in a vet medicine shop at the age of 16 for about five years. After accumulating some capital and a wealth of experience, Mr. Badal established his first cold store in Tirpureshwor, Kathmandu some twenty years ago at the age of 21. And after that, he has been a success story of Nepal’s entrepreneurship journey and today has investments in poultry medicine, vet pharmaceuticals, farms, cold stores, pallet feed mills, automobile, and container handling terminals all over Nepal. He is constantly communicating with importers, farmers, and suppliers working in the industry to promote the poultry industry.
Mr. Nawraj Paudyal is the managing director of the company and is responsible for the company’s strategies and growth. He represents a stark contrast to Mr. Badal’s story. An expert in banking and finance, he got his bachelor’s degree in business studies from Tribhuvan University. He later completed his postgraduate study from the same university in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. After spending more than a decade in the gulf, he decided to use his expertise and hard-earned capital in Nepal. Poultry struck to him as a fast-growing sector with immense potential. He then teamed up with Mr. Badal to set up a hatchery in Nijgad, his hometown.
